That 𝘪𝘴 the plan, because: 🚨 Every blocked order becomes a fundraising email 🚨 Every court battle is a talking point about election fraud conspiracies 🚨 Every attempt to restrict voting primes his base to distrust the results—𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘢 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘦 𝘷𝘰𝘵𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘴𝘵 And what's written into these executive orders gives states ideas to try out at home (𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 part of the plan). 🗳️ Republican governors in Florida, Mississippi, Utah, and South Dakota have already signed bills requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote 🗳️ Louisiana’s House just passed a bill to check voter rolls against the (deeply flawed) federal SAVE database 🗳️ Tennessee is next 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁. It's to spread enough confusion, enough fear among election officials, and enough doubt about results to delegitimize any election they lose. The Senate takes up the SAVE America Act this week—same goals, different vehicle.
