There are projects in which the Israeli-Ukrainian Alliance's team participates unconditionally, because they change Ukraine for the better.   This week, IUA’s CEO Anna Zharova become a member of the international jury (14 people from 12 countries) of the "Ukrainian Brands in Global Trends" contest. It was launched by the Global Ukraine Foundation within the framework of the International School of Cultural Diplomacy from the National Center "Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine". What was it about? Pupils aged 12-17 were given the task to write an article about any cultural Ukrainian brand (authentic singing, a monument of nature or architecture, a unique recipe or embroidery). Thus, 49 studies of talented youth appeared, from which it is possible to make a unique puzzle of the unknown picture of Ukraine. Yesterday, Global Ukraine announced the winners. The first place was taken by the work "Stilske Gorodishche: A Cult Complex of White Croats", the second place was shared by research on the Lipino tract and the history of Kulish national dish. And the third place went to works about the peculiarities of Poltava embroidery, Sharivsky Palace and the song "Hey Numo-Numo, Let’s Braid Shuma", which became famous thanks to the extraordinary band Go_A. P.S. We would like to additionally mention Olesya Solodko and her research titled "The House of a Woman Played by Natalie Portman". It is dedicated to the house of the mother of the famous Israeli writer Amos Oz, a native of the Ukrainian city Rivne (https://lnkd.in/e_2kFBnc). Once again, Israel and Ukraine have been united by thousands of visible and invisible ties!
