𝐆𝐑𝐔𝐏𝐎 𝐈𝐒𝐐 | ISQ is developing solutions that could make Portugal a European leader in the protection of critical infrastructure 👉 At the 2026 Science and Innovation Conference, taking place today and tomorrow at the Lisbon Congress Centre, ISQ presented the work it is carrying out to anticipate climate risks and strengthen the resilience of the country. Among the solutions under development, the following stand out: ✅ Climate risk models that integrate territorial, climatic and infrastructure data to assess hazard, exposure, vulnerability and impact; ✅ Georeferenced 3D reconstruction using satellite imagery, drones and LiDAR validation, enabling infrastructure to be analysed with millimetre precision; ✅ Digital Twins applied to the management of critical assets, simulating extreme scenarios and supporting predictive maintenance; ✅ Smart agricultural monitoring to assess vegetative vigour, biomass, chlorophyll, water stress and phytosanitary risk; ✅ Smart analytics platforms that transform large volumes of data into near-real-time decisions; 🌎 These solutions demonstrate the potential of combining Earth Observation, Artificial Intelligence and geospatial analysis to protect critical infrastructure and enhance resilience to climate change. 💯 ISQ thus reinforces its role as a technological partner in innovation, engineering and territorial resilience.
