Bittersweet moment for me. Stepping back from the day-to-day at Friends & Family Movers isn’t easy. This is where I learned how to lead, solve problems under pressure, and truly take ownership. At the same time, it’s something I’m incredibly proud of. Being able to pass responsibility to people like Christian Evans and Walter Davis and watch them grow into leaders is exactly what building a business is about. Those are the same skills I was fortunate enough to develop in those roles, and now it’s their turn to take them even further. As I make this transition, I’m looking to step into a tech sales role, where I can combine my background in Computer Science with the hands-on experience I’ve gained growing a business. From negotiating and closing work for a small startup to building relationships with larger partners, I’ve learned how to communicate value, solve real problems, and drive results and I’m excited to bring that into a fast-paced, tech-focused environment. Grateful for everything this journey has taught me and even more excited for what’s next. Congratulations to CJ and Walt.
