This past Friday I, along with a handful of other project management students, were given the opportunity to partake in RMIT University’s Immersion Day with Seeker Agency to explore project management through a different lens, that of event management. Extremely grateful to have been able to learn so much about the extremely detailed processes that go into delivering a wide range of interesting and exciting events, and seeing first hand how an event is planned at all stages from pitching an idea through to executing the event. However, my biggest takeaway from the day is the emphasis Seeker Agency places on its culture and collaboration, being able to see how positively that can impact not only their efficiency to put on an event, but how much it impacts the quality of an event to thrive. So a sincere thank you to Christian Marchand, Ella Ciardulli, Brad Hampel and the entire team at Seeker Agency for being so welcoming and allowing us to have such a unique experience!!
