Delighted to share that our MICROCOSM project has been selected for funding by PEPR MED-OOC! By developing a multi-organ-on-chip platform specifically designed for chronic respiratory diseases, we aim to reproduce key biological mechanisms and treatment responses of individual COPD patients within a controlled microcosm, a small, simplified system that reflects a much larger clinical reality 🫁 💪. MICROCOSM is a collaborative project, bringing together the expertise of five complementary research partners: 1.    Centre de recherche Cardio-Thoracique de Bordeaux (represented by Pauline Henrot, Maeva Zysman and myself) 2.    Institut Mondor de Recherche Biomédicale (represented by Laurent Boyer) 3.    CEA (represented by Florent Malloggi, Karla Perez toralla, Jean Yves Thuret) 4.    Pôle Cardio-Thoracique du CHU de Bordeaux (represented by Maeva Zysman) 5.    APHP Mondor (represented by Etienne Audureau) We are deeply grateful to PEPR MED-OOC, our institutions, and everyone contributing to this project. A special shout-out to Elise Maurat, Éloïse LATOUILLE and Florent Malloggi for producing precious preliminary data! 🔎 Stay tuned, we’ll be hiring soon!
