Earlier this month, I was given the opportunity to spend a week doing work experience at Girlings Solicitors. Throughout the week I gained an insight into various aspects of employment and commercial law. The week allowed me to improve my analytical skills while proof reading documents, effective communication when assisting with clients and improved my understanding of legal proceedings in new areas of the law. I am so thankful for the team at Girlings for making me feel so welcome, assisting me throughout my week at the firm and answering all my questions, which has changed my perspective and increased my interest in employment law! I'm looking forward to applying the skills learnt during this week in my further studies and legal journey! 😊
