Every release teaches me something new about being both an artist and an A&R. With “PAWA”, the process felt especially personal. As an artist, this song is about recognizing the power I’ve built through discipline, training, and faith — while understanding that God is the ultimate source and authorizer of that power. As an A&R, my role was to translate that vision into a full visual world. Every creative decision was intentional: • My physique represents power earned through discipline • My family praying over me symbolizes the strength of community • The performance by the sea reflects reverence for God and the wonder of His creation The official music video expands on the original artwork by Feoisugly and builds another chapter in the universe of my forthcoming EP, ODESHI. I executive-produced the visual from start to finish — overseeing styling, sourcing and sewing fabrics for the muses, coordinating accessories, shaping the creative direction, and documenting the behind-the-scenes journey. It’s a powerful reminder that A&R isn’t just about finding music; it’s about protecting and elevating the artist’s vision at every stage. Huge thanks to Shadrach Annang (Junie Annan) for directing, filming, coloring, and editing a piece that perfectly captured the spirit of “PAWA,” and to Suntrade Beads for the stunning jewelry and accessories that brought the world to life. The official video and song are out now. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the creative direction https://lnkd.in/dJvtcJrh
