📷 Súil siar of Day 1 of the Global Irish Civic Forum 🌍 Over the course of the first day of the Global Irish Civic Forum, over 250 diaspora representatives from 21 countries gathered in Croke Park to discuss how to deepen ties between Ireland agus diaspóra na hÉireann ar fud fad an domhain. The Global Irish Civic Forum is an initiative of the Irish Government to engage with the Irish diaspora from around the world. Each forum helps strengthen ties, promote discussion and engage around issues of concern and interest to the global Irish community. Day 1 included opening remarks from the Minister of State for International Development and Diaspora Neale Richmond, T.D. and the launch of Ireland's Diaspora Strategy 2026 - 2030, an address by Uachtarán na hÉireann Catherine Connolly, and presentations on the work of community and cultural organisations.
