Some people wait until they feel ready to step into something hard. Others don’t. Andrea Lackey built her career by choosing hard things on purpose. She went back to school at 30, stepped into aerospace without a clear path, and once she was in the room, she made sure her voice was heard — even when it meant speaking up, holding her ground, or figuring it out in real time. That mindset is what shaped her career — and what she brings into her work today at Iris Technology, where she leads Business Development & Product for our Aerospace division, supporting programs tied to missions like Europa. This Women’s History Month, we’re thinking about women like Andrea. Not just for where they end up, but for how they operate — curious enough to start and tenacious enough to stay, even when the work is complex and the room doesn’t always make space. If you’ve had to build your way into a room like that, her story will feel familiar. https://lnkd.in/gJ2zVvbz #WomenInAerospace #WomenInSTEM #WomensHistoryMonth #IrisTechnology
