Work hard. Play hard. 🎾 While Team Germany is going strong at #Wimbledon2026 #TeamAlstom #AlstomSalzgitter & #AlstomBraunschweig took to the court for our own friendly tennis tournament at ESV Wolfenbüttel last Saturday. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with colleagues I don’t get to work with on a daily basis, build new relationships, and enjoy a day of training, chatting, eating, and, of course, playing some tennis together. I’m especially happy that my tennis partner Brendon Arthur and I reached the semi-finals—exactly the goal we had set ourselves before the tournament. Mission accomplished! A huge thank you to the organisers and tournament winners Christian Sander and Sebastian Olle, all the helpers Christian Reimer Yasin Haybat Peggy Engelhardt Sabine Muschellak, Alexander Voronkov, and everyone who stopped by to support us— Peggy Engelhardt Jens Bünte and the rest. Events like these are a great reminder that strong teams are built both inside and outside the workplace.
