Mr.Osama Kamal, former Egyptian Minister of Petroleum, alongside representatives of the Egyptian Association of Engineers. This workshop marked a key milestone to present the latest advancements of the PyroBioFuel project, a collaborative initiative dedicated to the production of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) through the fast pyrolysis of agricultural residues. By converting biomass waste into high-value fuels, the project contributes to both circular economy objectives and the decarbonization of the aviation sector. On this occasion, IRESEN was represented by Ayoub HIRT, who contributed to presenting the projectโs recent progress and engaging with international partners and stakeholders. The project brings together a consortium of leading academic and research institutions: Cairo University (ุฌุงู ุนุฉ ุงููุงูุฑุฉ), Ibn tofaรฏl university - Kรฉnitra (Morocco), IRESEN - Institut de Recherche en รnergie Solaire et รnergies Nouvelles (Morocco), University of the Witwatersrand (South Africa), Brandenburgische Technische Universitรคt Cottbus-Senftenberg (Germany), and CNRS โ PIMM (France). Through initiatives such as PyroBioFuel, IRESEN continues to foster high-impact research partnerships and support the development of innovative solutions for a more sustainable and resilient future. #PyroBioFuel #SAF #RenewableEnergy #InternationalCollaboration #LEAPRE #EnergyTransition
