Organized within the framework of the MENALINKS programme, the event highlighted the growing role of buildings, particularly hotels, in supporting the development of a more flexible, resilient, and sustainable power system. As the local implementation partner of the MENALINKS programme in Morocco, IRESEN contributed to the organization of the forum and to the mobilization of national stakeholders, as part of ongoing efforts to assess the flexibility potential of buildings and promote concrete solutions for smart energy management. The discussions focused on several key levers, including: โœ… improving energy efficiency; โœ… integrating renewable energy solutions; โœ… digitalization and smart control of energy consumption; โœ… strengthening interactions between buildings and the power grid. The forum also emphasized the importance of collaboration between public institutions, experts, financial partners, and private sector actors to accelerate the deployment of innovative solutions in support of Moroccoโ€™s energy transition. ๐Ÿ‘ IRESEN extends its sincere thanks to all participants and partners for their engagement and valuable contributions to the success of this event. The MENALINKS programme is led by Guidehouse and funded by the International Climate Initiative โ€“ IKI of the German Federal Government. #IRESEN #MENALINKS #EnergyFlexibility #EnergyTransition #EnergyEfficiency #RenewableEnergy #HospitalitySector #Morocco
