IRESEN was honored to support the 𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝘀, 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲), held in Marrakech on June 11–12, 2026, bringing together distinguished researchers, academics, and industry experts to explore the latest advances in materials science, energy technologies, photonics, sensing, and sustainable innovation. The conference provided a valuable platform for scientific exchange and collaboration, with strong contributions from the IRESEN team. Our colleagues presented cutting-edge research through several oral communications: 🔹 Sanae Habchi – Enhanced Biocrude Yields from Green Algae: Modelling and Optimisation of Hydrothermal Liquefaction Processes 🔹 Seddiq Sebbahi – Techno-Economic Assessment of a 20 kW Alkaline Green Hydrogen Micro-Pilot Powered by Hybrid Solar-Wind Systems in Morocco 🔹 Nouhayla ATMANI – Process Modeling and Scale-Down Analysis of Renewable Methanol Production at Pilot Scale: Innovative Insights 🔹 Asmae Benaissi– Comparative Assessment of Direct Air and Point Source Carbon Capture Across Sectors In addition, Mohamed ELWAZNA delivered a keynote presentation entitled “R&D Funding and Energy Transition: Performance Indicators and Transnational Opportunities”, highlighting the strategic role of research, innovation funding, and international cooperation in accelerating the global energy transition.
