Currently, Omar Ibrahim serves as the Human Resources Manager at The AT Group in Erbil, leading a critical joint venture with AIM World Services. In this role, he oversees the full lifecycle of talent acquisition and partners with senior leadership to align human capital practices with overarching business objectives. He is instrumental in guiding workforce planning, leadership development, and change management initiatives, utilizing data-driven insights to promote continuous improvement and a fair, high-performing work environment. Previously, Omar has held pivotal leadership roles, including Head of HRD at Sprint Oil & Gas Services, where he established the HR department from the ground up and managed complex expatriate work permits and labor law compliance. His extensive background also includes serving as Human Resources Manager at Tuba Investment& Consulting and contributing to Toyota Iraq as a Learning and Development specialist. Throughout his career, Omar has demonstrated a profound ability to manage multi-location teams and coordinate high-stakes HR projects for global clients such as Ericsson. Omar is an Associate Member of the CIPD, holding an Associate Diploma in People Management (Level 5). This elite qualification is complemented by a Bachelor’s degree from Salahaddin University-Erbil and a diverse array of specialized certifications, including Strategic Human Resources Management from the University of London and Fraud Awareness from UNICEF.
