Position: Wells QAQC Team Leader Location: Basra, Iraq Department: Wells Duration: 12 months renewable Rotation: 28/28 The Wells QAQC Team Leader will be responsible for the management and coordination of the Wells QAQC team. The emphasis of this position is to ensure the growing demand for QAQC is met and managers are informed, along with the development of local workforce. Criteria & Qualifications required Proven record of strong execution and delivery in a similar role. A minimum of 15yrs oil industry experience in different roles, including minimum 5yrs in supervisor or management position. Experience working within Wells teams would be considered beneficial. Strong knowledge of QAQC and management systems. Strong knowledge of DS-1 and its implementation and Sound Knowledge of NDT processes and types. (MPI, UT, LPI etc) Strong knowledge of API standards and implementation. Familiar with surface wellhead systems. Strong knowledge preferred. IRCA lead auditor qualification. Must be computer literate and have ability to operate MS Office applications. Educated to at least first-degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering, or related disciplines. Maintains a high standard of business integrity, professional behaviour and confidentiality. Experience of working in Middle East land-based environments is preferred.
