We were proud to support 'Prepare for Prom' this year, a local, volunteer‑run charity doing something genuinely special for young people across Buckinghamshire. Since 2024, Prepare for Prom has been sourcing and providing donated prom dresses, free of charge, to pupils who might otherwise choose not to attend their school prom due to cost or access. Working quietly behind the scenes with schools, the charity helps ensure that no one is excluded from what should be a memorable milestone. Their 2026 event was held at Restore Hope Amersham on Saturday which saw around 70 dresses gifted, with many happy recipients and an enormous amount of effort from a dedicated group of volunteers. Local charities like Prepare for Prom make a real difference at community level, and they deserve to be celebrated. A huge congratulations to this special group for another year of making a difference to children across Buckinghamshire.
