Post by Iqbal Dulloo
Assistant Professor at University of Warwick | MRC Career Development Award Fellow
Not long ago, my world shifted in ways I never imagined. I found myself questioning my sense of purpose, and it has been, and continues to be, an incredibly challenging path. Today, however, I am grateful to have some uplifting news. I am humbled and pleased to share that I will be starting my own research group at the School of Life Sciences, University of Warwick later this year. This was made possible through a Medical Research Council Career Development Award (MRC CDA), an opportunity for which I am deeply grateful. Our lab will explore how membrane proteases influence cell signalling through gene regulation, particularly in disease contexts such as viral infection. If this research interests you, whether in terms of collaboration or future opportunities in the lab, please feel free to reach out or share this with others who might be interested. To everyone who stood by me on this journey, thank you. Your support, encouragement, and belief in me made this next chapter possible. Announcement: https://lnkd.in/eq8U55if
