Yesterday, Chief Engineer Joshua Devitt, attended the Asset AI and Engineering Intelligence event as a part of the University of Technology Sydney Tech Fest. The session included a presentation on the Asset AI project, as well as a second presentation from Transport for NSW on some of their AI work. This was followed by a panel on the use of AI more broadly, how it's impacting the industry, and how it may shape future engineering graduates and the work they will do. This event was also nominally in celebration of international women in engineering day.
