As one of the largest public works events in NSW and the ACT, the 2026 State Conference, proudly partnered by COMPLETE URBAN, LB Australia, and Fulton Hogan, will bring together local government engineers and decision makers for two days of keynote presentations, technical streams, panel discussions and industry exhibitions focused on 'Future Ready Infrastructure'. The Gala Dinner will be held as part of the State Conference, during which we will once again be showcasing the outstanding projects local government and individuals have accomplished. This year we are again extremely honoured to have The Hon. Ron Hoenig MP, Minister for Local Government, attend to present the 2026 Minister’s Award. For the first time ever, the Institute is holding the Municipal Engineering Foundation 4 Ball Ambrose Tournament which is proudly sponsored by StreetSTRONG + Cato. As part of the registration delegates will complete the 18-hole course at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley followed by a buffet lunch.
