Transport for NSW has drafted a new Technical Standard TS04951.6 Functional Spaces Part 6: Ancillary Facilities. The standard is being consulted with key industry partners to ensure that the draft standard is fit for purpose and is aligned to best practice. This is the first version of the standard to be developed by TfNSW. Technical Standard TS04951.6 Functional Spaces Part 6: Ancillary Facilities establishes and defines functional and spatial requirements for functional spaces design when working with new and existing assets. It is applicable to road services facilities. If you have interest in providing feedback on the draft standard, it is open for consultation until 24 April 2026, and comments can be raised through the TfNSW Standards Portal - https://lnkd.in/g5inTBmG TfNSW will consider all the feedback comments with a view to provide a response to those who have provided their feedback in the portal.
