IPCC Vice-Chair Diana Ürge-Vorsatz, Working Group II Co-Chair Winston Chow and #IPCC authors contributed to the Innovate 4 Cities conference https://ow.ly/xTki50ZgRav in Nairobi this week. Co-organised by the UN-Habitat and the Global Covenant of Mayors, the conference was held for the first time in Africa. It was also an opportunity to broaden the engagement with African researchers and practitioners in the ongoing government and expert review of the Second Order Draft of the IPCC’s Special Report on Climate Change and Cities – scheduled for release in March next year.
