Since 2018, Riese & Müller GmbH has relied on our GPS trackers – now fitted as standard across the majority of their models throughout Europe. What began as a small pilot scheme is now firmly embedded in Riese & Müller's DNA. Steffen Dautzenberg sums it up in the interview: "Every e-bike is connected." For us, that means far more than hardware alone: together with Riese & Müller, we deliver a complete package covering GPS tracking, insurance, and a recovery service – so if a bike is ever stolen, we handle the entire recovery process. We were particularly struck by Steffen's perspective on data: through the data from the connected bike, Riese & Müller can now see genuine customer usage patterns for the first time – when and where people ride, and how ridingbehaviour differs. That insight already feeds directly into product development, and in future could even enable automatically scheduled servicing based on individual riding habits. For us, that's the heart of the partnership: not simply supplying trackers, but actively contributing to Riese & Müller's development through AI-driven data analysis and our own product ideas.
