At the foot of the Troll Wall, the power behind the charge can be traced back to a local source. At IONITY Trollveggen in Norway, drivers can charge with renewable energy from the nearby Verma hydropower plant, just above the site. The same mountain water that once helped power the Rauma Line railway is now connected to long-distance electric travel. Together with Rauma Energi and Becour, we can document the origin of the energy through traceable Guarantees of Origin. That creates a clearer link between where the power is produced and where it is used. It is a more local, documented way to connect renewable energy with charging. #IONITY #EVCharging #RenewableEnergy #EnergyTransparency
