Communities in the Pacific are facing repeated shocks. Back-to-back Category 4 extreme weather events have disrupted lives across Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea and Micronesia, affecting hundreds of thousands of people and damaging essential infrastructure. As governments lead response efforts, IOM is supporting coordination and delivering relief items, while also strengthening preparedness and early warning systems with partners across the region.
