🧬 A hopeful step forward for the Huntington's Disease community. uniQure has announced that it plans to submit a Biologics License Application (BLA) to the U.S. FDA for AMT-130, its investigational gene therapy for Huntington's Disease. A BLA submission is the formal request asking the FDA to review a treatment and decide whether it can be approved for use by patients. While this is not yet an approval, it is an important milestone on the path toward making a potential treatment available. There is still work to be done, and the FDA review process can take time.
