IWDA is proud to share this collaborative paper developed ahead of COP31 on good practice for civil society inclusion in multilateral spaces. As Australia prepares to take on a major leadership role in global climate negotiations, this paper focuses on why inclusive, transparent and meaningful engagement with civil society matters especially for women’s rights organisations, Indigenous communities, Pacific voices, LGBTQIA+ communities and frontline climate advocates. It also outlines practical principles for participation, including: • Better resourcing • Early engagement • Accessible consultation processes • Transparency throughout negotiations. IWDA is proud to be working alongside organisations and people doing important work across climate justice and gender equality. 1 Million Women Women's Climate Congress Women's Environmental Leadership Australia The Nature Conservancy in Australia @Nature's Leading Women Oxfam ActionAid Plan International WWF-Australia Feminist Climate Collective (FeCC) Read more: https://loom.ly/kkI7gRc
