[MONACO MBA PROGRAM | EXPERT INSIGHT] 👉 During their 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤, 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐨 𝐌𝐁𝐀 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 had the privilege of welcoming Dr. Dr Lisa Simone Duke for a thought-provoking session on “𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐈-𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝.” 💫 Her message was clear: 𝐀𝐈 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥; 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞. Much as calculators or GPS once did, it is reshaping our cognitive processes and creating, as she described, a “capability gap” between those who use it effectively and those who do not. 💫 But perhaps the most striking insight was this: 𝐀𝐈 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞. 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐭. As highlighted during the session, efficiency gains are easily replicated, whereas organizational architecture, decision-making frameworks, and leadership judgment are far more difficult to replicate. 💫 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬, the challenge is not to compete with AI, but 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞. Avoiding cognitive dependence, strengthening critical thinking, and maintaining human qualities such as narrative intelligence and moral imagination are becoming essential in this new landscape. 💫 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 “𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐱” 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐈 𝐮𝐬𝐞, raising important questions around trust, integrity, and evaluation—particularly relevant in both academic and professional environments.
