[ALUMNI SUCCESS STORY | MSc in Finance] 👉 From the classroom in Monaco to Société Générale 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐦𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐦, Max Swinckels is building an international career in the finance industry. ➡ 𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞: https://lnkd.in/diMJ7rBA ▪ Recently appointed as a 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫, Max now works at the heart of corporate banking operations, managing client requests related to cash management and credit solutions. ▪ Reflecting on his journey, Max highlights the importance of 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬, and developing both technical and communication skills early on. ▪ He credits the MSc in Finance at the International University of Monaco for helping him 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐜, 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐞𝐭 needed to navigate the competitive world of finance. One of his key pieces of advice for students aspiring to enter the industry: 💡 “𝐷𝑜𝑛’𝑡 𝑏𝑒 𝑎𝑓𝑟𝑎𝑖𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑐ℎ 𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑎𝑠𝑘 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑎𝑑𝑣𝑖𝑐𝑒 𝑜𝑟 𝑎 𝑐𝑜𝑓𝑓𝑒𝑒 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑡.” ▪ Beyond academics, Max also remembers the strong sense of community at IUM, especially the 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 during events and study trips.
