When men support women’s work, entire families win​. In Ouahigouya, Burkina Faso, cab driver Thierry Armar Combary used to see himself as his family’s sole provider. Then a workshop asked him a question he hadn't considered before: what if the arrangement was holding his family back? That workshop was part of a training we supported, where men and women learned that sharing household responsibilities helps women work, trade, and invest in their communities.
