ICO has started the construction of the world’s first fully automated multi‑storage facility for more than 10,000 vehicles in Zeebrugge, a construction that has never been realized anywhere in the world at this scale.   The project sets a new benchmark in vehicle logistics. The high‑tech system will use 10 fully automated cranes to store and retrieve vehicles without manual handling. By building vertically, the facility uses less space and requires fewer vehicle movements on the terminal, leading to lower energy use and a smaller environmental footprint.
