🎓 Fifth generation of the IBU Academy’s First Level Course kicked off in Obertilliach From 26 May to 1 June 2026, Obertilliach (AUT) welcomed 20 coaches from 18 National Federations who embarked on their educational journey led by experienced IBU Educators Armin Kasslatter (ITA) and Luca Bormolini (ITA). Coaches from different nations were able to connect, exchange experiences, and discuss common challenges and best practices in athlete development. A distinguished group of lecturers and experts contributed to the programme: 👉 Ilario Maddalin - Intermediate shooting technique knowledge 👉 Lucie Rothauer & Tanja Ketola – Anti Doping (BIU) 👉 Robin Wunderle & Max Long – Para Biathlon 👉 Stefan Lindinger – Skiing Technique 👉 Steffen Hoos – Waxing Knowledge 👉 Tanja Winterhalder – Skiing Equipment 👉 Benjamin Wirthgen – Rifle Equipment 💬 "It is a special moment to see an international group of coaches come together in Obertilliach for the fifth generation of the First Level Course.
