AI looks very different depending on where you're sitting and that's exactly what made IAA SLAM: Global Perspectives on AI so special. Hosted by Seedtag, the evening brought together voices from UK, USA, Nigeria, South Africa and Asia - a truly global lineup. Tom Standage, Deputy Editor of The Economist , set the scene in a blistering 1.5 speed performance dispelling common myths about AI with his signature wit and discernment. Then our global 'SLAMMERS' stepped up to the mic, rising to the challenge of delivering a punchy 'hot take on AI' in only 300 seconds. As the only industry association with members spanning every corner of the globe, this is exactly what we're here for. Not one perspective on AI, but many. Honest, local, refreshingly different and a bit of fun. Thank you to Seedtag for hosting, to every speaker who brought their part of the world so vibrantly into the room and to the excellent audience, who came to cheer on our first ever IAA SLAM.
