La colección toma como protagonista el hinoki japonés, una madera vinculada a la identidad de MAS, para explorar la relación entre luz, estructura y material. Sus cuatro modelos, con formas horizontales y verticales inspiradas en pequeñas arquitecturas, proyectan una iluminación indirecta y envolvente que realza la veta, la textura y la calidez natural de la madera. Created by Norwegian designer Daniel Rybakken, DR 01 is the first lighting collection by MAS, the contemporary furniture brand created by Japanese wooden furniture manufacturer Karimoku Furniture. The collection places Japanese hinoki wood at the centre, a material closely connected to MAS’s identity, to explore the relationship between light, structure and material. Its four models, with horizontal and vertical forms inspired by small architectural structures, create indirect and atmospheric lighting that highlights the grain, texture and natural warmth of the wood.
