Many Americans feel discouraged by polarization and declining trust. At American University in Washington DC, BRAID Fellow Avery Field chose a different response. She organized an interfaith community action project that brought students together across beliefs to assemble care packages for immigrant families and unaccompanied minors navigating the immigration system. The project demonstrates how service, a value shared across traditions, can strengthen civic life and meet real community needs. https://lnkd.in/g5cPGJt6
