Building on another active week, INTERCARGO participated in the Bergen International Shipping Conference and the Bergen Shipping Dinner in Bergen, Norway, on 10–11 June. Organised with the support of the Bergens Rederiforening (Bergen Shipowners' Association) and the Bergens Skibsmæglerforening (Bergen Shipbroker Association),the events provided an important platform for dialogue between members, partners and industry stakeholders on key developments shaping global shipping and the dry bulk sector. INTERCARGO was represented by Secretary General Kostas GKONIS, PhD, who exchanged views with members and industry stakeholders on the evolving priorities and opportunities facing the sector, while further strengthening engagement across our membership.
