En 2026, mientras el mundo se prepara para vivir un nuevo Mundial de Fútbol, hay otro torneo que también se juega así: con estrategia, trabajo en equipo y capacidad de responder en momentos clave. Por eso, este año Superhéroes del Desarrollo se vive como el Mundial del Desarrollo. Una iniciativa del Grupo BID que reconoce a clientes y agencias ejecutoras que, proyecto a proyecto, enfrentan desafíos reales y generan aprendizajes que mejoran vidas en América Latina y el Caribe. Porque ejecutar proyectos se parece más al fútbol de lo que creemos: hay planificación, hay imprevistos, hay que jugar en equipo y aprender incluso cuando el partido se pone cuesta arriba. En este Mundial no solo se compite. También se aprende. El inicio del partido es el 18 de mayo. That is why this year Superheroes of Development is experienced as the Development World Cup. An initiative by the Inter-American Development Bank that recognizes clients and executing agencies who, project by project, face real challenges and generate lessons that improve lives across Latin America and the Caribbean. Because implementing projects is more like soccer than we think: it requires planning, adapting to the unexpected, working as a team, and learning even when the match gets tough.
