We’re delighted to welcome Xiao Bai to the Intelli-Ingest Doctoral Network as a PhD candidate at the The BioRobotics Institute at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna with Gastone Ciuti. Xiao completed a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering at the City University of Hong Kong, where her research focused on wearable devices and their biomedical applications. Now, as part of the INTELLI-INGEST project, she is broadening her expertise in biomedical research and contributing to the development of innovative technologies that aim to improve human health and wellbeing. Working within an international, interdisciplinary team, Xiao looks forward to collaborating across disciplines, sharing ideas, and advancing intelligent biomedical systems that bring research closer to clinical impact. We’re excited to see Xiao’s contributions to the Intelli-Ingest programme and to the growing community of researchers shaping the future of biomedical engineering.
