Good news for patent applicants: 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝟯𝟬% 𝘂𝗽𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱/𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘄𝗮𝘆 (𝗣𝗣𝗛)!   From 𝟯 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝘁𝗼 𝟯𝟭 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳, applicants filing a PPH request together with a new request for a search and/or examination report will only need to pay 𝟳𝟬% 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝘀 for the latter.   Previously, applicants would pay the full fees and receive 30% of the fees back thereafter.
