Across the U.S., an estimated 500,000 people have been diagnosed with bronchiectasis (BE), a serious and chronic lung disease, and potentially millions more may have it without even knowing.  That's why we launched Suspect Bronchiectasis (Suspect BE) and engaged with Ty Pennington as a spokesperson to share his story as a caregiver for his mother to help shine a light on this disease and the importance of not overlooking ongoing respiratory symptoms. Suspect BE is about taking a deeper look at unresolved symptoms — and speaking with a pulmonologist to see whether further testing, like a CT scan, may help rule out or confirm BE.
