The defining global risks of the next decade are not receding: climate, biodiversity and rising inequalities. The difficulty is not knowing this, says Pierre-Francois Thaler, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of EcoVadis. It is making space to act on it while everything else competes for attention. At a recent CEO Series event at our Europe Campus, Thaler spoke about the need to stay anchored in the long term. “Even though you are distracted by all these polycrisis and the very fast changing geopolitical environment, you need to spend part of your time, investment, energy on addressing those long-term risks,” he says.
