What does it take to build an organisation that can keep adapting in a world of constant change? According to Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship and Family Enterprise Chiara Spina, it starts with an entrepreneurial mindset. In the latest episode of INSEAD Explains Entrepreneurship, she argues that organisations which are willing to experiment, learn quickly and test ideas under uncertainty are better equipped to navigate rapidly changing markets than those that rely on slow, bureaucratic decision making. Drawing on her work with founders, incubators, accelerators and governments across Asia, Europe and the Middle East, Spina also explores how entrepreneurial ecosystems evolve, from individual experimentation and collaborative learning to institutional adoption. She argues that the strongest ecosystems are built intentionally, with countries designing strategies and support systems around clear ambitions, whether that's global reach, domestic scale or regional leadership.
