Last week, our account manager Arife Karaosmanoglu - Aker welcomed a delegation of Turkish deep tech entrepreneurs to Rotterdam; companies with validated technologies and serious international ambitions. During the three-day visit, we went deep into what it actually takes to land and grow in the Netherlands. Not just the practical side (startup visas, venture capital, legal and tax setup) but also the human side: how to build trust, navigate cultural differences, and find your footing in a new market. Because that's what soft landing really means, not just opening doors, but making sure people know what's behind them. The result? Seven out of ten visiting companies are now seriously considering Zuid-Holland as their European base. This region sits at the heart of Europe's logistics, energy, and tech corridors. For international companies with the right technology and the right ambition, it's a strong base. Visits like this show why. Thinking about expanding into Europe? Feel free to send a message to Arife Karaosmanoglu - Aker.
