This month, TIF hosted our first-ever graduation ceremony for the inaugural senior class. To mark the occasion, we partnered with 109 Cinemas Premium Shinjuku, where students, families, faculty, and community members gathered in a beautiful state-of-the-art theater to celebrate this milestone moment. With unlimited drinks and popcorn in hand, guests heard heartfelt remarks from seniors, fellow students, faculty, and a parent -- with more than a few teary eyes in the room. Our seniors were also surprised during the ceremony with short films about each of their journeys through TIF, directed by faculty member Austin Martino. These three films debuted on the big screen and will be shared on the TIF page later this summer. After the ceremony, the celebration continued back on campus with superlative awards, much laughter, and final rounds of board games before the start of summer break. Congratulations to our inaugural graduates! With this ceremony, TIF becomes a school with alumni, and we are deeply grateful to the students, families, faculty, mentors, and community members who helped make this first chapter possible. Shu, Mischa, and Kimaya helped shape our growing school, and we cannot wait to see what they build next.
