As TÜV NORD GROUP steps in as a proud Silver Partner at Tech Tour Energy & Decarbonisation 2025, we were thrilled to host an exclusive side event for startups participating in this year’s program on 26.11.2025. And what an inspiring afternoon it turned out to be! The group kicked off their visit at the TÜV NORD GROUP CAMPUS in Essen, diving straight into mobility at the TÜV NORD Mobilität GmbH & Co. KG IFM Laboratory. 🚗🔍 🔧 Laboratory Tour Highlights Our journey began with a deep dive into the Tire & Wheel Laboratory, guided by Schöffler Stefan and Matthias Eiling, a true behind-the-scenes look at how precision engineering meets safety and performance. 💨 Up next: a live demonstration of the Portable Emissions Measurement System (PEMS) by Dr. Martin Goschütz, showing how real-world emissions data helps shape a cleaner future. 🔋 And of course, a crowd favourite: the Traction Battery State of Health (SoH) assessment on an electric vehicle, expertly explained by Manuel Hagemann. Nothing like seeing innovation in action! Thank you Leif-Erik Schulte for making it possible! ✨ From Lab Coats to Learning Circles The afternoon continued with a hands-on workshop hosted by TÜV NORD CERT, where Susanne Günzerodt, Matthias Böttcher, and Anna Loukovitou guided the startups through: ✔️ Why certification is essential for building trust with corporates ✔️ Which certifications matter most for emerging technologies ✔️ What concrete next steps teams can take right away Every exchange sparked new ideas, making the workshop as energising as it was informative. A special thank-you to Fabricia Beltramini, representing innoTANK, for guiding the tour and keeping the energy high from start to finish. 🎤 To wrap up the day, the group headed back to BRYCK.COM for the official Kick-off event, where partners took the stage and Dietmar C.
