⚙️ Agile hardware development. Does it really work? Everyone says agile works for software. Fast iterations, quick feedback, ship early and improve. But hardware? Most people say it is too slow, too expensive, too rigid for that. We disagree. And Version 0.3 of our sensor is the proof. After our first field deployments with V0.2 we did not just sit in a meeting room and plan the perfect next version. We listened. To our customers. To our installation engineers. To the data coming back from real wind turbines in real conditions. What we heard was clear: the technology works, but there is more to improve. Sensitivity, deployment, manufacturability. So we went back, incorporated every single learning, and built V0.3 with one goal: better, faster, more reliable. Based on real world feedback, not assumptions. Was it perfect? No. Did we learn even more from V0.3 in the field? Absolutely. And that is exactly the point. Build. Deploy. Listen. Improve. Repeat. That is agile hardware development. And it works, if you are willing to truly listen to your customers and let the field be your lab. One thing that makes our agile approach work: Hardware, software and data analysis plan every sprint together. Different perspectives, different instincts and a culture where questioning each other is not just allowed but expected. That is what makes root cause analysis fast and assumptions short-lived.
