🎯 🤝 SASI is an enabler of successful cooperation projects Two projects supported by SASI have been nominated for the Fairtrade Awards 2026 in the category “Cooperations” ⚽ From Field Fan Shop brings together BRANDS Fashion GmbH, Fairtrade Deutschland, and eight Bundesliga clubs Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt, FC St. Pauli von 1910 e.V., 1. FC Union Berlin, HSV, VfB Stuttgart 1893, VfL Wolfsburg, SV Werder Bremen GmbH & Co KG aA. The project demonstrates how sport and sustainable agriculture can create positive environmental and social impact while improving livelihoods for farming communities. 🍫The second nomination recognizes the partnership between dm-drogerie markt Deutschland , Maestrani Schweizer Schokoladen AG, Fairtrade Deutschland and Fairtrade Africa. The project, part of the Due Diligence Fund (DDF), strengthens long-term structures for cocoa farmers and promotes fair purchasing practices throughout the cocoa value chain in Sierra Leone. ☕  SASI’s expertise has supported the HREDD Support Fund, financed by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented with support from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. As part of this fund, the Caventura / Red Ecolsierra cooperation has been nominated, with on‑the‑ground implementation led by Fairtrade and partners. The category “Cooperations” shows that collaboration is essential for truly sustainable supply chains, especially when it comes to Responsible Purchasing Practices.
