🌟INFORMS QSR Member Spotlight🌟 We are pleased to highlight three INFORMS Quality Statistics and Reliability (QSR) members who will be joining Mississippi State University as Assistant Professors in Fall 2026 in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering within the Bagley College of Engineering. Dongmin Li is a Ph.D. candidate in Industrial Engineering at Georgia Tech H. Milton Stewart School of ISyE. Her research focuses on developing data-driven methodologies that integrate statistical, optimization, and machine learning approaches for modeling and decision-making in complex systems under data and resource constraints. Her work has been recognized with multiple finalist honors in INFORMS Best Paper and Data Challenge competitions across the Quality, Statistics, and Reliability Section and the Data Mining Society, 1st place in the 2025 IEEE Power Electronics Society MagNet Challenge, and a feature article in Advances in Engineering. Ryan (Feng) Lin is a Ph.D. candidate in Industrial Engineering at the University of Washington Industrial & Systems Engineering. His research lies at the intersection of human-centered AI, statistics, and quality science, with applications in healthcare, transportation, and marketing. He was selected as a Rising Star Fellow at the 2026 IOE–ISyE–MS&E Rising Stars Workshop. His work has received multiple finalist or runner-up honors in INFORMS QSR Best Paper Competitions (2023 and 2025) and won the 2026 IISE DAIS Best Student Paper Competition. Xinchao Liu will join Mississippi State University following a one-year visiting appointment in the department. His research integrates physics-based domain knowledge with statistical machine learning for applications in aerospace, agriculture, and biomanufacturing. His work has been published in IISE Transactions, Technometrics, and the ASME Journal of Manufacturing Science & Engineering. He has received multiple academic honors, including the 2024 IISE DAIS Best Student Paper Award, 2022 INFORMS QSR Best Paper Finalist recognition, and the 2021 INFORMS QSR Best Student Poster Award.  Congratulations to Dongmin, Ryan (Feng), and Xinchao on this exciting milestone.
