📢2026 ICQSR Future Faculty Colloquium📢 Call For Participants   Colloquium: Tuesday, July 07, 2026 The INFORMS Conference on Quality, Statistics, and Reliability (ICQSR) invites applications for the 1st ICQSR Future Faculty Colloquium (formerly called “Doctoral Colloquium”) to be held on Tuesday, July 07, 2026. This in-person event is designed for doctoral candidates expecting to graduate by Spring 2028, and postdoctoral fellows. A panel of experts will lead discussions on a range of topics of interest, including job search, interviewing tips, career selection, life in academia, work-life balance, and success in teaching, research, and professional service.    Tentative program includes the following: Tuesday, July 07 14:00-14:10         Welcome and Introductions 14:10-14:40     Ice Breaker 14:40-14:45 Words of Wisdom 14:45-15:15     Break and Networking 15:15-16:45        Expert Panel: Success and Challenges in Academia   Applicants need to fill out this form: https://lnkd.in/eCD9-z55 (a 1-page CV and a signed advisor’s consent form are required for doctoral candidates, and a 1-page CV is required for postdoctoral fellows). Application deadline: Monday, June 22, 2026. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The acceptance decisions and notifications, together with the “ice-breaker” presentation template, will be sent within five (5) calendar days.   Registration for ICQSR 2026 (https://lnkd.in/eY3n6T_P) is encouraged but not required. This event is complimentary for students who have registered for the ICQSR 2026 (the application form for attending the colloquium must be submitted separately).
