🌍 Cyber threats may be easing slightly, but that should not be mistaken for safety. In March 2026, organisations faced an average of 1,995 cyber-attacks per week, representing a modest decline, but still remaining close to historic highs. At the same time, ransomware activity rebounded and risks linked to GenAI continued to increase. Check Point Software’s March 2026 Cyber Threat Landscape research highlights several important shifts: 📊 Nearly 2,000 weekly attacks per organisation continue despite a slight decline 💸 Ransomware activity is rising again month on month 🤖 1 in 28 GenAI prompts pose a risk of exposing sensitive data Although overall volumes dipped slightly, the threat has not gone away; it is evolving.
